ALETHEIA aggregates and normalizes publicly available chemical hazard and safety data from scientific, research, and regulatory authorities including the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA), the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA), and others. Many of these authorities produce hazard identifications (the capacity of a substance to cause harm under some conditions), not risk assessments (the likelihood of harm under specific exposure conditions). ALETHEIA does not supply exposure context and is not a substitute for a risk assessment performed by a qualified professional in the relevant jurisdiction.

ALETHEIA also produces derived outputs — including statistical confidence profiles and cross-source consensus indicators — using ALETHEIA's own analytical framework. These outputs reflect methodological judgments about how to align heterogeneous source materials; they are not regulatory determinations, not independent toxicological conclusions, and not a "ground truth" that supersedes any primary source. Consensus indicators reflect alignment on whether a substance warrants regulatory attention or exhibits hazard potential; they do not represent methodological agreement on risk magnitude, exposure thresholds, or dose-response relationships. Holistic Quality LLC does not conduct original toxicological research and does not endorse any particular cross-regulatory interpretive methodology. Source attributions and ingestion timestamps are included in API responses; users should consult the cited primary sources for authoritative information.

Regulatory classifications, source records, and applicable requirements may change, be corrected, withdrawn, or superseded without direct notice to us or to you. ALETHEIA data may lag behind current regulatory status by weeks, months, or longer, depending on source update schedules and ingestion timing. There is no representation or warranty of currency, completeness, or timeliness. Before making any legal, medical, commercial, compliance, or safety decision, users must independently verify current status through the relevant primary source and, where appropriate, consult qualified professionals in the relevant jurisdiction. Reliance on ALETHEIA data without such verification is at the user's sole risk.

Holistic Quality may update this Disclaimer from time to time. Material changes will be announced at least thirty (30) days before taking effect, through the Service website, the RapidAPI listing, or, for users with direct-issued accounts, via email to the address associated with your account. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Disclaimer.

Specific limitations of liability, exclusions of damages, governing law, venue, and dispute resolution are set forth in the ALETHEIA Terms of Service. Processing of personal data in connection with the Service is governed by the ALETHEIA Privacy Policy. In the event of conflict between this Disclaimer and the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service govern.
